One of the best mom websites owned by one of the best moms

I came across this website by coincidence while looking at a magazine while at my obgyn visit when I was pregnant with Sydney. It is owned by a Christian lady by the name of Heather Ledeboer.
Since then I signed up to receive their blog. Recently Heather lost a baby when she was just 3 weeks short of giving birth. Her blogs have been very sad but at the same time rich in sharing how God is bringing her through this. Her faith in God is very evident during this very hard time in her life. I love how real she is in her blog. Although this is one of the worst things that could ever happen to a mother God is already bringing something good through it.
I am sure her blog goes out to women who may not be Christians, and through this situation she has shared God's word in the most beautiful way.

You are invited to a Commissioning Service for the Carpenters

Five years ago we could not have imagined where we’d be today. This month as we celebrate our five year anniversary we remember the vows that we made to the Lord. We prayed primarily that we would be in the center of God’s will.
This year we will have another service to make a commitment before our family and friends. This service will be a dedication of our talents, time, and strength to God’s work at Hidden Acres. We would like to invite you to join us Sunday, May 25th, 2008, 5:30 p.m. at Hidden Acres Retreat Center.
This will be a time to celebrate God’s calling and purpose for our lives.
This service will include a missionary guest speaker, and a potluck fellowship meal. You will also hear us share our vision for our ministry.
If you would like to join us please make plans to attend. For directions and more information please contact us.
If you cannot attend please remember us that day.
In Christ,
Tim Carpenter

Bella The Movie

If you have had some time to sit with me, you know that I am very passionate about prolife work and pregnancy center work. Well, this is a movie that is prolife and proadoption, so I am encouraging everyone to watch it, buy it, share it, and if you can afford to donate it to a pregnancy center to give to their abortion minded clients.

selah the great

Today Selah learned how to escape from her crib. It was a bitter sweet moment for me :)
It was when she was supposed to be napping. I was out in the hall when I heard little steps coming out of her room. I looked at her with a surprised look and she looked at me with a little smile as if saying "look at me! Aren't you proud of my sneekeness!" She was so proud, and I was a little proud of her myself. I asked her "how did you get out of your crib little girl?" She smiled.

photo shoot

I am enjoying our camera as you can tell by our blog. Here are a few pictures from the day that I think turned out pretty good. Of course I think Seth & Selah improve most of the pictures with their all natural cuteness.
