Newsletter Time

We are having a good time at Hidden Acres. I wish I could keep this blog up-to-date, but we do not have internet access at summer camp (that has its pros and cons :).

I am going to try this new thing of up-loading our newsletter to one of those file sharing sites. This is a free site so there are ads and things on the page that are annoying, but I have used this site for downloading free digital scrapbooking stuff and it has been safe.

Summer Camps here they are

We are on our way to Hidden Acres off to start our first camp this Sunday. Please be in prayer for our totally cool staff which is headed by the very wonderful Director Carp. May God be in control of our lives

A Celtic Prayer for the Birthday girl

Selah, my silly goose and cuddle bug. I thank the Lord for allowing me to mother you for another year. Happy Birthday my big three year old.

Here is a prayer for you on this our blessed day

May the Father of Life pour out His grace on you;
May you feel His hand in everything you do
and be strengthened by the things He brings you through:
this is my prayer for you.

May the Son of God be Lord in all your ways;
may He shepherd you the length of all your days,
and in your heart may He receive the praise:
this is my prayer for you.

And despite how simple it may sound,
I pray that His grace may abound
and motivate everything you do;
and may the fullness of His love be shared through you.

May His Spirit comfort you, and make you strong,
may He discipline you gently when you're wrong,
and in your heart may He give you a song:
