Verse for my daughters
This verse is a verse I stumbled upon one time during college. There was a large stone with this verse carved on it, so I literally almost stumbled over it at UMHB. This awesome stone with moss growing on it near a path really caught my attention. I later remember reading that this was a verse a pastor used when he talked to his congregation over the importance of starting a university for girls in Texas. Since then this has been one of my favorite verses pertaining to women in the Bible.
It is a prayer for my daughters. (I also like the first part of the verse for my son.)
"...that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace." (Psalms 144:12)
